Filament geotextiles executive standards: GB/T 17639-1998
Filament spunbonded and needle punchd nonwoven geotextiles are a new type of building materials. The raw materials are synthetic fibers of polyester, polypropylene, acrylic and polyamide polymers. Filament spun-bonded needle-punched geotextile has many functions, such as anti-seepage, anti-filtration, drainage, isolation, reinforcement, protection, sealing, etc. Compared with conventional stone masonry and concrete materials, it has the advantages of low investment, simple construction technology, short construction period, good anti-seepage effect, and high effective utilization coefficient of canal.
Geotextiles have high strength and good permeability because they can maintain sufficient strength and elongation under dry and wet conditions. They are corrosion-resistant. They are durable in soil and water with different pH and alkalinity. They have good permeability because there are gaps between the flat wires.
The filament geotextiles have good mechanical properties, as well as good elongation properties and high chemical stability such as bio-resistance, acid and alkali resistance and aging resistance. Polyester geotextiles have been widely used in infrastructure construction, and gradually applied to a wider range of fields.
